How to judge the wear resistance of the spiral hose guard

The spiral protective sleeve, as its name implies, is designed to protect our hoses, so the degree of wear resistance has become one of the major issues that buyers are considering.
So how do you distinguish between strong and weak wear?
1, wear resistance and thickness have been irrelevant Many people say, is the spiral protection sleeve thicker and more wearable? This is not the case, because the preferred choice of wear resistance depends on the composition and properties of the material. The high-quality wear-resistant protective cover produced by orientflex uses modified PP raw material, which is an ideal wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant material. Its chemical properties are stable, and it is harder than PE and has a higher melting point. Therefore, although the spiral protective sleeve produced by PP has no corresponding thickness, it has absolute toughness, high strength (generally 85 to 90 degrees Shore) and high wear resistance.
2, wear resistance and quality independent of the sheath will not increase with increasing mass. The original PP material is characterized by light weight, stable chemical properties, non-toxic and harmless characteristics, and the produced protective cover has a smooth surface, no bubbles, no shortage of materials, no cracks and burrs. The material of 100% original material makes the wear resistance increase by 10% and the anti-aging performance is improved by 5 years. On the contrary, the inferior sheath product is doped with a lot of recycled materials, which are not only uneven, toxic and harmful, but also have variegated colors. The same number of meters is much heavier than the high quality sheath.
3, wear resistance is related to the production process. Orientflex has modern production equipment and advanced testing instruments. It is made by retail winding and qualitative extrusion process. The production of the line makes the quality of the protective sleeve more stable and the data more precise. Increase by 20% (tensile strength at room temperature is 25~30MPa), not easy to break. Tested by the “Acronyce Abrasion Tester”, the quality difference is less than 0.07 as a high-quality sheath, and conversely, if it is greater than 0.07, it is a poor quality sheath. I am sure that after my explanation, I believe that everyone has some understanding of the wear resistance of the spiral protective cover. Therefore, in order to protect the hose on our mechanical equipment, we still need to choose a spiral protective sleeve with high wear resistance!
